maybe a bit bright, I'd try to tone down the radial blur... but I find it enjoyable

the only thing I'd do is un-center it. I think it would look better if it was to the left of your posts.

a thin border would make it lok a lot better IMO... but i like it

try cutting our the top right corner of your sig out and using that, or when you do it have the radial blur in one of the corners, unless its the centred blur you like, just some suggestions, probs be best ignoring me :E

its real good, its a great start seeing as how you said you are a n00b to photoshop, which I am to.
