trying to create a retro website, used some old postcards from qtone's sidez site, i keep making loads of layouts along this sort of theme, but i cant decide cos they always look too plain or out of place, any ideas on how i can make a retro / 1950's website look sweet?

It looks really nice, and I like how the tape looks. The overall idea is good, but the colors seem really out of place. Maybe it's the tan-ish background that's throwing me off. But something looks off.

changed the tan to white now, i was going to leave the original one up buty i accidentally uploaded over it, meh, looks better now, thx diablo
