Hi all, what about this ?

1024x768 wallpaper. VERY common and mainstream but I just can't quit doing things like this.

only critism i would have is the green background colour, but maybe thats just coz i dont like green

i like the outer space look, dont think the scan lines should be over the "galaxies" though kinda looks weird, but very nice job.

Agree. Middle and middle right awesome. Top, bottom and lef needs more work. And drop the scan lines.

i really like the middle graphic, maybe if you could get rid of the scan lines and do something w/ a burst look (like firework type burst- not splatter or trendwhore shape burst) and make it look clearer and change the dark green lines and stuff to something else. but that's my opinion, since the green doesn't match the center. it's like you made the center graphic, and werre like 'damn, i gotta fill space' so you put those things on.

Actually the green stuff wasn't supposed to show as much: but it seems that my graphic card (nvidia chipsted based graphic card) makes everything a lot darker :-( Even with correcting gamma tools, I'm never sure how it will look on other computers...
But as the other persons said (thanks for all your comments) this background is a problem. And actually you're right I never know what to put once the middle is done. :-(
I can't draw so no fancy logo nor funny little alien ... I really need to find something to fill this space.

i like the contast, it's really smooth and jagged at the same time... hard to pull that off.
