whatcha all think ofthis layout??

This is just a layout for my personal site, where i will display all the things i made.

It's my third layout ever, and i need some comments on it
I have 2 versions:

i like design3 more than 2, although i do believe that the grey you use is kinda ugly, just a personal opinion. i would try to lighten it up a bit, websites should be easy on the eyes and light cool colors are. i know it you are trying to go for the dark look and you do success but there are ways to have a light look and still be dark and industrial look. goodluck id like to see the finished product.
