I like the second one alot better. I am really fond of the color-dodging-like effect with the blurs in the background, and the (whatever is in the middle) sparks imagination. Nice job man.
I don't think anything should be added or changed.

It looks too plain. Not sure what you're going for but you need to add something like photography, extra textures, more colors, 3d models, text or whatever to make it less plain.
