I am working on a logo for my little side business that I am trying to establish. My name is Dave Fore but a lot of my friends call me D. Fore so I decided to go with D4 Design as my business name. The logo objective was to make it look simple so it's easily recognizable, but not look amaturish. Keep in mind logos like 3M, Shell Oil, Motorola, etc. Very basic, but easily identified. I also wanted it to look slightly artistic since it's a design business. It also needed to translate well for faxing purposes and for letterhead. At the moment, it's only black and white but will likely take on some color for web and print applications. I may add some texture to the background as well. I'm just wanting to get initial feedback from some of you guys who understand the concept of logo design and see what you think. Keep in mind that this is not a sig and is not intended to be one. It's a logo. There are 3 basic versions I tinkered with... LOGOS Let me know what you guys think and thanks for any constructive criticism. |

I´d go for the first one. They all look great, and make a good logo. |
