Twin Lightsaber

This is a little something I've been working on a little bit here and there for the last 3 days or so.

It's not a direct replica of Darth Maul's twinsaber due to the fact that I modelled it based on a toy I had, which (as I found out several days ago) is NOT a direct replica itself. Also, the model is not completely done as you'll see if you look at the pictures.

Looks pretty sweet, like the metallic one better.

Maybe use some more anti-aliasing, the tex looks a bit jagged. Don't forget the lightsabers have two tiny circular holes on each end (in maul's case). They're very small, around 1 cm in diameter for your picture.

I like the second one too...Nice use of textures and lights...Might want to add like a grunge map or something on it to make it look like it's been used in battle a few times and to add a little realism to it...Nothing is ever perfect looking...I like the articles and tutorials that dvgarage has discussing elements like that...Here's a link http://www.dvgarage.com/garage/a2d/a2d.php .. Second one looks much better. I'd love to see the laser light though.
