Trend vs. Grunge Wallpaper

NL and I have made little wallpaper (1024-768). It's trendwhore vs. grungy where NL did the grunge, and I did the trendwhore thingy.

Well, as I said on IRC, the concept is a good idea, but something about the 2 chosen styles don't mesh well with me. I agree with Ax about changing the font at the top.

I like the bottom left corner for some reason, lol.

The one main thing that didn't fit with me was the scan lines in the lower left corner. They have a very sharp feel, where as i dont find that anywhere else in the composition. Maybe its the color? Maybe if they were a little lighter, thus making them softer?

Thwo diferentr style... yet they seem to combine nicely...

I liek the intensity... perfect fo the one who want a wallpaper who does not ask for to much attention..leave the icons as the maisn focus point...

i like the grunge part rather than the trend area. the two themes are a bit too contrasting so it's really hard to use both and blend it in well. must've been hard, the effort stands out among everything else. good job!
