I'm just smarter than all of you and knew it was a spider web! HA! I think it looks good, you just need more typography, add text and stuff. |

Thanks guys for making me feel at home! *NL*, you're definitely right about adding more, I am totally aware of that .. I'm really hard on myself with when I start putting things together, and the majority of the time I end up axing what I do.. I'm my own worst critic and I need to get away from trying to do the "perfect" design. That's kind of the idea of the text in my Siggy "always looking".. Because I'm always looking to do the perfect design that it takes away from me just letting myself create!! And I mean the perfect design in MY EYES, not someone else's! Thanx brothers!!

That's kind of a cool design. Might be kind of tight if you used it on the side of a page to fade into a solid blue color as a background for a site. BTW- what are you guys using to make all of your 3D stuff? I have never messed with any 3D programs whatsoever and am a newbie as it is, but some of you guys are producing really nice pieces. I'd love to start fiddling with 3D. What do you guys recommend/use the most? Tommy what did you use on your sig? Those blue stems are freaky, but I like 'em! Dave Fore |

Hey Dave - Funny you mention it about using the pic on a site on the side of a page. This week I started designing my personal site and here's what I first did You read my mind - The Background will extend the length of the page. The 3D program I've been using is Cinema 4D. On a scale of 1-10 i'm about a 2 or 3 using it. But you can see you can do some pretty cool things with little knowledge of 3D.. Like I said before, I know I'm a little late with this 3D shape deal, but I think they rock. For the signature I used C4D then took it into Photoshop and fooled around with it. Get yourself a free trial version and start fiddling with it. Peace! |
