Here's the deal, I'm type new at this just filling you peple in. ----------------------------------------------------------- -Say for example I'm creating a banner or something about 300 by 100 -and if i want to place a picture into that layer, and the picture is quit big, how do i make the picture to the appropriate size? -------------------------------------------------------------- Another question -For example i want to make a suare or any shape an i would like the edge to be round or curve like how can i get it done? |

1st Question: Well you can either resize the image (image > Image size) or if its already a layer within your image you can select it and do edit > transform > Scale 2nd Question If you have photoshop 6.0 use 'rounded rectangle' look located under the line took (hold down line tool to access other tools) OR use this tut (for any shape http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/interfaces/round-edges/ |

I prefer by far the "Phong" method: Quickmask, Gaussian Blur, Brightness/Contrast adjustment. |
