555499 bytes...holy cow...i think if your going to use that for a splash your going to need to optimize it like a lot....or at least slice it up a lot....but it looks pretty cool....

There isn't what I call sweet coherency. It has elements that can be used together, but they aren't working together to bring the image where it needs to be in terms of movement and overall eye candy. I would experiment around with blending modes and layer masks to make the pieces of your image flow into each other so it creates a visual harmony. I would also make the fire/redness stuff in the background less arresting. Try taking the brightness up and the contrast down on it.
