hi people...

as some of you might know i am doing a project for people that have a boat for hire.

you can see the site i've designed here, it isn't a graphic anymore, but it isn't a complete website either. Can you please give me some suggestions?

Not to sound out of the loop, but what do you want it to be? Do you want it to be a complete site? Or do you want it to be just an informational piece like it is?

Are those the only 3 pictures that you have of the boat? If you have more pictures, you could set it up so that there is a different picture on each page that you have set up on your navigation. Then your user wouldn't have to select pictures. He/she would see different images of the boat on each page they visited. Do you want to keep it simple? You might try blending the picture of the boat into a blue background. I noticed that all the pictures of the boat have a blue tint.

What you have now is clean and crisp. You have a good balance going on.

yeah i know... i am going to add more pictures...
and a different one on each page.

but people still will be able to select a different picture, because i hate it when i visit a site and there is some image there i totally hate... this way people can select the image they like best.

Site is nice and clean but not really user friendly... it's not understandable that the 3 pix remain the same as you move within' your menus, I personally expected to find other pix on different menus, maybe related to what that menu' says... didn't happen.

I feel there's something missing but not knowing where u want to go further on with graphics I cannot say... maybe some recurring theme that help you focus on boat pictures... and the text frame, I would make it even with pics height.

And I believe there should be some "java" out there that loads a different picture each time u refresh the page... otherwise, FLASH! ;)

the pics will change later on. this is just a first design...
i am going to work further with this design...

Not the epitome of all that's unholy but not the greatest thing since grunge brushes either. Falls inbetween. I'm taking German and Dutch so I can read half of the graphic resource sites I go to. It took me 10 minutes to realize the notice on a german stock photography site essentially said: "We are expirencing some down time, we should be back tomorrow."
