Some new 3d stuff

I actually have a bunch of images here so bear with me. I was tryin to recreate the effect on the renderosity.com logo called the moebius effect, in which an image goes blends from a wireframe model to a textured model, and I came up with these. First there wasversion 1 and as you can see I had know idea on how to get the blending effect. After I found out how to do it I made this, but I thought it was missin somethin. I made this background and combined it with this image to come up with the final version. I suppose that I might have overused the moeius effect but I think it looks pretty cool.

I also made this which looks a lot like the renderosity logo, but it's actually based on a painting on the Sistine Chapel. The quote is a slightly modified passage from Genesis.

Figure created in poser and textured and rendered in Cinema 4D XL. I don't have 3ds max which is why I had to use PS to get the blending (at least according to what people tell me).

i remember i used to make a few pics like that about a year ago when i first found out the style, loved it and still do and i think i might make pic using it sometime soon..hmmmm..if i can come up with an idea...

Looks awesome...nice work...the only thing that i dont really like is the font you used for the name, or maybe its not the font but just the outer glow that you have around it....its just looks kinda funny...but other then that it looks great...nice work...

I love your final version... Actually I like 'em all, but the final version is the best. I like the DNA strands in the background and such... very nice effect...

DNA looks really juicy!!

I re-did the final image with a slightly different background and a slightly different angel, and I got rid of the text completely. I see what you mean Paavo, but the thing is the lighting on the figure was done in Cinema 4D and the flare in his hands was done in PS and I didn't really know what colors to make the light in Cinema, I tried using lighting effects in photoshop but it just made the angel dark blue and it didn't really look that good. Anyway, here's the Tweaked Version.

By the way, the DNA is just a free .3DS object I downloaded from somewhere and textured in Cinema, so I can't take all the credit for it
