Yeah. The business is quite intentional. Looks good to me as a wallpaper, but anyway, I'm going to post another version of this image minus a few of the layers that made up the granite/rocky background. And yeah, its still busy. Malfeasance2 |

Must say, in my humble opinion, that this pic is good. I don't think it's to busy. Like the coloring. To me this pic has a depth that gives me stiff scrotum (thats positive). And the "thingies" in the pic reminds me of a underground rootsystem, seems kinda "lordoftheringdreamkindathing" to me. And all this in a relativly simple (simple ? pic... is it simple to do ?...I don' know, please excuse me if I'm to blunt. Can't "read" pics like some of Ye) pic, is to me very well done. I would like to be able to do this. Bogus, you're my idol of today. Have nice weekends to all of Ya, going to have a F***ing meeting with the employer concerning their "salary" (paycheck) politics...Hemmm sounds kinda fun, don' it ?? C'Ya !! |

The graphic uses photoshop custom brushes. Threw a few variations on a layer, then duplicated/free transformed the layers several hundred times by merging down/duplicating as I went along. Add in a couple of layer blending modes to the resulting layers.

I like the overall tendril effect, but I think you should ditch the textured background. Like vts31 was mentioning in an indirect way, K.I.S.S: keep it simple stupid.
