Wasn't sure whether this type of thing went in Graphic Check or Digital Art Showcase, but I decided just to post it here based on the other types of posts in this section. Anyway, I've spent most of my PS time over the last week working on these different fruits. At first I tried to put them in a bowl, but that went horribly wrong so I just threw them on a background. Comments or criticism are welcome. Click P.S. I made everything you see by scratch. |

Hiyas ;) What strikes me is that I find myself sucked into the background colors and not really seeing the fruit at all. Kind of a shame since I figure the render time went into them..:/ Tone down the bkgds and boost the fruits ( god, that sounds like a cereal commercial) so they take precedence maybe? Perhaps even a drop shadow that is custom so to suggest real depth? ;) |

Nice clean work not real exciting but well done. I agree tone down the backgrounds abit and I would soften the drop shadows

Very good points both of you. I'll definitely take that into consideration if I ever decide to revise this piece.
