That is really good. How long did it take you to do?? I think it looks real sharp. Only one thing wrong (thought he could just be a weird ear guy), his ear is too high.

no. We don't have movie theatres in this town. Why don't you build us one?? I really hate driving 45 minutes to see something I may or may not like. ok since he's an elf. I guess his ear looks fine.... |

Great work. His face looks slightly squashed and his right eyebrow doesn't work with the angle the face is pointed.

Mmh, it's not bad but it doesn't really looks like Legolas, the hair and the clothing are good but the shape of the head is all wrong. You really have to pay attetion to what you see on a picture. Anyway, keep practicing you're doing great Don't take this critisism as if I'm trying to break you down, it's just to help out. If you used a mouse to make it I take it all back, I know how hard painting with a mouse is :p |

thanx all. I really don't know how long in hours I worked on it.... usually when I do a piece, I become obssesed with it, and don't like to stop till I'm pretty much done, then I pick on it for a day or two. I did use the transform scale early on in the painting when I realized it wasn't quite right...to enlongate the head....guess I should have gone a little further. I didnt think I would ever get the hand even close to the way I wanted it.

I don't mean to be mean but that really doesn't look like Legolas. But the texture of the hair is stuff is really cool. The mouth or something looks really weird... I dont know but keep working at it! :D

Hey its cool. I don't usually paint real portraits.... I mainly go outta my imagination, so I'll be the first to admit I need alot of practice. BTW, this is the photo I was looking at. I wasn't trying to go for exact, but it will help see where I was coming from.
