How do you guys like my sig?

Well, I don't want criticizem(so?) like that... I wouldn't mind if he said : "The image is a bit too busy, and if you added some more manual effects, instead of just images, it would be much better", but what he said is just stupid... And I did not know that you guys rag on him or if he was a forum regular, which I would treat him the same either way...

but he didnt even insult your image, he just said he didnt like it.

Yeah i agree, Alias wasnt trying to start sumthin, just giving an opinion. P.S i like ur sig Ryujin....

OK, whatever, it just seemed a bit like he was just being stupid to me.


P.S. I was wondering how much it costs to get my photoshop 5.5 upgraded?

My comp resolution is 1024x768 and when I got on my parent's comp that is on 800x600 resolution I noticed my sig messes up the forums a bit, I'll fix the once I get back on my computer.

too be quite honest, i didnt like ryujin's sig, but i decided to keep that to myself. but its understood that when you post something like this, youre going to receive some negative criticism, but its not neccesary to phrase it in the way alias did ("r u guys blind?"). I can see how his comment appeared offensive, and in a way it seemed like he was trying to start something. i say ryujin had the right to retaliate, or "attack", alias. you dont need to take no disrespect from nobody. and if standing up for yourself gets you banned here, then thats whats immature. :eek:

ok but alias' sig wasnt the one on trial here. ryujin's was, alias just stated his opinion, no matter how mean/rude it was.
Both parties are at fault but comments like

LoL! Look who's talking... Ooohhh, a few tubes and a thick black line, very difficult and flashy...

are totally out of line and very uncommon in this forum, which has made it a nice place to get constructive criticism and make you a better artist. If people were to start getting into spirited arguments insulting one another's artwork, i wouldnt think banning would be out of line at all, to preserve this forum's quality.

Anyway, i agree with bonamo. they were both out of line, but someones time spent as a member of this forum should not render them immune to criticism.

lol you guys crack me up! i know alias is a lil punk *wink wink* because when i put my sigs up i pretty much got the same comments, but i dont take it to heart cuz thats kinda what i expected considering i was a newbie to ps. Although alias does have a point on the sig. i feel that it is busy and it doesnt seem like a lot of cutting and pasting.
if you want my advice id say kill the semi wire at the top right...kill the tank(or make it seem like its on something instead on floating on lightning?) ummm
bah truthfully i would have liked it if it was just the text, tank and the lightning background as the whole sig. No offense buddy dont yell at me :D just a little to cluttered..you had a good idea going though ;) :D
