thought i'd post this for i go chill in florida for a week w/o access to a computer :( i don't think this is done yet tho, maybe redone in a bigger size and some more refinements be made. Hope you like, criticism is welcome.

I like it, not sure what it is but I like it. The only thing that looks, I dont know, unpleasing to the eye is the white sunshine light thing in the top lefthand corner. It needs to have more colors in it I think. Not just white... I dont know I hope you know what I'm trying to say...

Blurred white things don't go well with the rest of the image. Maybe make the flare a crystal, or something sharp...

sorry sidefx, "shear filter" ? nope,didn't use it...only filter used was gaussian blur in a few places and motion blur, everythingelse is straight PS andthe middle object was made in 3ds max. Maybe i should know this, what is the shear filter? have another name or somethin? I'm not too familiar with some of the filters beyond the different blurs and such.

thanx for the comments guys I appreciate it, when i get home I might redo it in a larger size changing some things as suggested and add some other stuff i had in mind.

[edit] just thought about it, (shear?) u mean the streaks on the right side? i was wondering how tons of people did that all over the place i figured it was a motion blur and 100% opacity, used eye candy's motion blur for it....

well the streak is easy to do... Distort > Shear

select the second option and drag that line ...
