Am new here and well, quite new to photoshop. Below is the background pic I made. Please give comments. Thanks thanks! http://www.singalore.com/adrian/2001_mazda_rx8-121.gif Please don't post images directly in the forum unless it's in the "pixel wars" forum. Thanks. -- Deker |

Good start, here are my suggestions: The biggest problem is that the picture of the actual car is really jaggy, you resized it I think? And that didn't come out too good. The lens flares are a little bright but good idea in using them for the headlights. Also you might want to find a tutorial on how to make some good chrome looking text, and use that in the bottom left Good first image though |

Ahhh lens flares.... that's stage one for a new Photoshop user. The car got very jaggy edges. Try finding a bigger picture of the car the next time.

Cool use of lens flares, but... don't use them as much as possible... Also, that car looks odd... Might be the jaggies they are talking about... |

The car is the original size cept I use contrast to make the windscreen look darker. Maybe that's why it's jaggy? Below is 2 similar bg pic I made using the previous file. Used motion blur but didn't seem to help much with the jaggy part. http://www.singalore.com/adrian/rx8conceptual1.jpg http://www.singalore.com/adrian/rx8conceptual2.jpg Thanks for all the comments and guidance. =) And oooh, this forum definitely rox! |
