Feeble first effort...?

There's something not quite in the image, maybe it's too big. Kinda looks too amateurish to me. The fact that I am an amateur may be why.


Also the size of the images is a bit of a worry...I tried optimising the image to reduce the size, but below 64k it turns the bugger to grayscale. (! Please note the correct spelling of gray ;) !)

Can you let me know what you think and whats wrong. Would really appreciate an honest critique.

well, the only thing i would change is the text, it doesn't go with the whole look
