I made a wallpaper a while back and just redid it a bit today. Please tell me which one you prefer: Old version New version |

I don't see many differences between the first one and the second one ... but the old version feels better. Dunno why. I love this wallpaper .... love the scratches on the picture. Great job.

Thanks guys. I made the new version, because I didn't like the inset picture in the old version, but the old one probably still works the best. I just have to lose the picture. |

Updated version I will now leave it alone. I hope it now has the best of both versions.

Can anyone help me out by telling me how that effect was done where the picture looks old and worn. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Undrdg and welcome to TeamPS I have had many people ask me how the "old" effect is done, it just careful use of brushes. Key to "gritty or dirty" images is to use more organic brushes and PS tools. Make your own brushes. |
