Ok, im new to photoshop and i'm not familar with everything...but critique my sig (dont be too hard, im only 12 lol). Is it to big?

it looks pretty good, but theres just something about the amount of empty space, i think if it was filled up more and the colors blended better it would look awesome. i bet if you just play with it for another hour you'll figure out a thing or two to fill that space up ;)

For a sig it is too big. I think the shapes are not in harmony The four "blocks" at the right and the yeah, ehm the end of an arrow next to it, don't fit. It's like putting a sphere into a box hole. :newlayer: btw that's a newlayer :P |

I changed up the blend modes on the shapes to make them stand out more and i added some lightning and changed up the text. O yea, i resized some to. Tell me if its any better.

hmm, its getting there, but the lightning is so bright that it takes away from the main focus of the picture (Crimson Phoenix) You might try making the text brighter(like a bright color and glow) to match the lightning feel. Maybe you could also try making the two words closer together so you can make that rectangle smaller so that it fits with the block the exact same way that the other hexagons do. |
