Suggestions and critiques please

I'm making a desktop/sig for a friend and I was wondering how I could improve it and how it looks.

I like that text effect. It has a really nice glow to it. Looks like lava or something. Neat.

Soft light and Colour Dodge layers of the same orange colour.

The text was duplicated and the bottom layer blurred abit

Trying to make wings but they don't look right.

I like both of them, the colors are great.

I like it, for some reason it kinda reminds me of Diablo.. Well the wings aren't great, hard to figure out, but better than I could do..Great Job.. :p

I have a hard time seeing what it is in the second image, but it still looks cool.

i think the reason the wings look strange is because it looks like you used 1 picture of a feather for every single festher on the wings- am i right?

I like it very much, but if you want some critism, the only thing I can say is that:
You can move the text up abit and then make it straight.

You can try that if you have time, If you don´t like it, just undo. you can try?
