Hmm... well, it's not really original...

I'm guessing its the tutorial from CarbonFour?...

You need to work on your trend text...

Don't use bevels for trendiness :S

yea, I first did the tut then I kinda revised it to my own likings and got more rays out of it than I would have with the tut..

i think its pretty sweet....for a few reasons......1) it has my name in it but spelled different...lol....2) its not to busy so it would work good for a wallpaper....and 3) i cant think of a third reason but still its pretty good.....the only thing that i would change would be the lines in the background......the ones that kinda look like scan lines i guess you could call them......but i guess it looks ok with them on there too.....whatever you want to do its your wallpaper...

It looks like the trend whore tutorial at wastedyouth.org and the starburst tutorail at carbonfour tutorial put together. I would make the pink diagonal lines shorter and a diferent color, also you should end the oval about 3 pixels above the text like you did with the lines. The beveled triangle doesn't fit either :( . Maybe if you get rid of the bevel and the drop-shadow. Keep working on it and I am sure you would et a cool wallpaper.

Looks good for your first one just need to improve on the next one ;-o
