Damn you are the man, or woman. I'll take you up on those comments, and like I said I just started (2 days). I'm learning new things every time I get on. Hey if its crap then its crap. I just don't want it to stay like crap.

Ok there is just something WRONG with your page. I can't place it though. Just a combo of colors, bad choice of background image, and maybe the fact your splash is all red and the rest of your site is all blue, don't mess with my mind like that man. Than, once i get adjusted to the blueness of it all, you change it AGAIN

Continuity is a VERY important part of a page. Try making them follow the same design in images and layout.

If you were just beginning, where would you look to get started? A friend recommended this site, and now where to?

You don't need to quote everybody, it's only neccesary when conversations are jumping around.

Eyeball is a great place. I love the tuts. Its been a personal favorite of mine since i first got interested in interface design. I was so happy after years of no updates that RY went and suprised us all and created the FXzone.

And the board is nice too *innocent look* and i'm just not saying that because i mod there. Seriously.
Don't look at me like that.

Anyways, if you are seeking interface-releated questions its a good place to start.

Yeah when I first found the site, it was stagnant, but it looks like he's rebuilt it very nicely.

Yahs hes really done alot of great work. It opened a few months ago and i love it. Had a live IRC chat there and everything. I wish i could do stuff like that. Interfaces were never my thing.

But even so, some of the techniques you learn for web design are the same techniques you can use for photomanipulations, which while i'm not 'good' at it per se, i'm way better at it than i am at webpages lol.

Andrew, another mod on the forum, just set up a IRC chatroom and a spiffy lil applet for the non IRC-ers.

So if you are seeking LIVE help, you could always hope in over there and see if theres anyone around to answer your questions.

eyeball is alright!! Its a neat place and i added a design to the contest.
