i've learn my lesson ....:D

Just use the polygonal lasso tool to make random shapes. Then fill them with different colors, and change the blending modes and opacity. You can also airbrush the edges to make highlights and a lovely 3d look.

tried that from carbon4's tutorial.. didn't work at first...

Actually, I did the spikes in Lightwave.

The only thing done in PS was the stuff in the bottom corner.

i reckon that trendwhore tutorial is phat, i had a go at it. It is full proff i didnt follow it exactly and it still looked good.
