http://www.activemadness.com/meka/ ok this is what i have so far. Something i through together last weekend and something i (hopefully) plan to finish up this weekend. The only thing i'm stuck on is how to display the content. There won't me much on most pages, but on a few you won't be able to get me to shut up. So i need something that displays good for long and short pages. Yes yes YES i know it doesn't line up now, i wasn't going to nitpick something that i wasn't going to use in the end. Oh and if anyone has some tips on how to make the girl 'blend' in more with her chair that would be great. So far shes too cartoony and stands out a little too much for my tastes. |

I really like it DPQ, but it doesn't line up :D (just kidding) about making it for small as well as large content, I tell ya what I would do.... Make a small slice for each of the right and left borders that can be placed as a cell background and make a table cell between them to hold the content... inside that cell set up all your content .... as the content area expands (vertically) the border slices will duplicate to go as tall as the page gets. (you will have to give the cells holding the content border width tags to keep em from going crazy, but thats what I'd do. Did I mention I like it?.... |

Bah, i know HOW to make it expand and contract as the pages moves along *shudders* Oh do i ever. I've had to build some pretty funky pages at work. But i can't think of a good DESIGN that would do it that would work well with the girl. So far i the arch thing is ice, sure, but its just not what i'm looking for. I was so enchanted with it at first now its just, i dunno, funky. |
