hello, this is my first time using cinema 4x dl. im more of a photoshop user so i made a pic in cinema (demo version) and printed the screen onto my photoshop. anywayz. tell me what you think. what does it need, what should i add, remove? http://theremixx.homestead.com/files/polywall1.jpg |

there is no bevel on the grid. actually there is no effect at all on the grid.. its the same one from the first pic.

you are making a trendy image, but you are using a classic font, that doesn't goes well in my humble opinion. This trendy picture requires some pixel / tech fonts. My 2 cents ![]() |

i agree with SiRECM about the font, it doesn't mix.... the first one was better, only that the text on the blue "thing" didn't look nice you made it all worst by adding the white lettered poem and the green and red text on the right....on the second there's a trendy arrangement tutorial over at carbonfour.com hope it helps u.... ![]() |

You need to add better materials to your spikes in Cinema 4D. Double click on the material editor and add a reflection. Add a light. In the render settings, click on anti-aliasing to 'best' and make it as big as possible. As you have a demo versio, you can't save so as the pic is loading, take a pic of your desktop and use that. Definitely add a reflection, it'll lood so much better. Add a box around the text too, it looks very out of place. Change the colour of the text and font also. That's what i'd do to make it look classy. :D

everything you mentioned was done. i added a reflection and lighting and print screen the render. i'll change the colour of the font.. but to what?
