A piece of graffiti-ish work.

Not only is it done very graffiti-ish, its also plastered on some self-made cement/rock texture. Looked decent to me anyway.

I like the basic look of it, but it has a depth that just doesn't look natural with the background texture.

I think if it looked "flatter" it would be better.

Right. I wasn't totally going for a true realistic look. I wanted to throw more layers into it. It doesn't look "real" real.

Tossing out a few layers here and there would make it look more natural/flat. I'll post that in this thread next Monday. The computer with that particular .PSD is 20 miles away from me right now.

The depth of feild is gone. doesn't look like it is sitting on top of the wall and is part of the wall instead.

i like the first one better. i like the fact that it has unrealistic depth that doesn't seem to make sense. the second one is a lot less interesting. nice colors in the first one

Thats the way I feel about it. Its digital art so reality can be tossed aside.

At least the 2nd one shows off my texturing more.
