I like it based on it's originality. It's alot better than the normal "hey look, I followed a tutorial and this is what came out" showcases.

I used my fancy, fandangled, supercharged mouse....hehe I wish I had a wacom......

Yep yep great as usual Jim. I think we're going to have to throw you out of this forum due to exessive artistic talen. And/or mangle you with chop sticks as axiom said. (lol j/k) as far as the image its great! It's original, the colors look good, the cutout, just painted look to it looks very good. It looks like a tree...nice!

It's beautiful. Is that the highest resolution image you have? It looks really nice. I'm very impressed. I love your use of light and color and the deep texture. The intense spots are perfectly bright, and the dark areas are perfectly dark. That little dash of purple up top adds some nice color as well. Artistically it's fantastic. Looks like a painting; you obviously have studied light and color theory and have implemented such knowledge in this piece. Truly great.

excellent, now if i only put my wacom to good use and learned how to do somethin like that good work.

Question: this was made in photoshop right? what kinda of a brush would you have used to get that painted effect. I'm thinking of trying painter 7 to do some of that type of stuff.
