Any suggestions on this piece. Im trying to convey the sence of Coldness (id say wetness..but that sounds kinda...) Im trying to make the background look like Ice, not so much as water. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/DjOddaC/Cold.jpg *we have a younger audience, please post links to images that contain "partial nudity"* My bad, sorry. heres another one: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/DjOddaC/Cold2.jpg |

First, the girl in black and white looks weird. If she's in a cold environment, than she should be slightly desaturated, with cooler hues..like greens & blues. You could even add red to the wettest areas of her skin to show how cold it really is. Second, ice is not blue. So you'll want to desaturate the background. Ice is white (where there's air) and black (environment reflections). So some white>black gradients, guassian blur and liquify tool may help here. Search for images of ice as reference. Also the white streaks over the background look more like wavy reflections (ie water). Instead, thin them out to look like sharp cracks in the ice. |
