Yup, trace it with the Pen Tool (use a blank white layer set at 60% opacity to see better).

you should learn how to use pen tool, why "should"? Pen tool is your mate, smooth line, curve, easier than lasso tool.

i would just redraw the shape in its entirety via tracing with the pentool, and converting to shape and/or brush

First >>> welcome to the forum! Second >>> please reduce the data size of your sig; for general guidelines http://forum.teamphotoshop.com/showthread.php?t=3 -- for practical, a sig of 20-25K is reasonable, yours at 235K is a titan. Third >>> There's some pen tutorials for illustrator here > http://www.teamphotoshop.com/tut_illustrator/il_tut.php . The pen tool is basically the same in principle in PS, just not as robust. Hope this helps. If you want more, google away! |
