Just messing around. Im going to call it "practice" for now (photo matching...resulting in the edited version). The snow wasn't the original idea. Though not entirely realistic, the snow would make a good card or something. *Link Removed* Comments on whatever are fine. |

window I saw this sort of thing once a while ago... it was made with 2 real photos - but may work nice with this too I like the realism...though I think the snow should form a thicker coat on the roof.... |

Looks pretty cool Rodder, maybe keep working on it and add snow drifts on the side of the barn and whatnot... either way I think its a pretty awesome photomanip :D

Given the 8 second rule of matte painting, it'd work. I mean, were it in some kind of film, that is. Apparently, there's kind of a rule that a doctored photo, meant to establish a wide-angle shot in a movie or tv show can be shown for only about 8 seconds before the viewer's eye starts to pick out inaccuracies. This one, though would work to that end. It took me 2 looks, staring at it for a total of about 30 seconds before I noticed any kind of inconsistency. And even then, I only really noticed them because I'd seen the original. |
