Hi, im new to these forums. This is a pretty much final concept design on a freinds band website. Just wanted to get some feedback on it. http://www.spiralwebs.com/dfunk/driver_friendly/jean.htm |

i really like the fabric textures, but the wood looks a bit flat - which wouldn't be as noticeable without the very sudden, clean diagonal cuts. colour scheme is nice, scratches look good. navigation seems a bit squished though.

I really like it alot, but it is not a bandsite. Maybe the background image should have something to do with music, instead of a forrest. This way it is like a Canada Camp site. Now that I am looking at it, I'd like to see a black and white picture of all the instruments standing in a row in a messy garage, ready to be used, without the band members being on there. The pic should have some contrast too But hey, who am I? And oh, I agree the wood is a little flat. Maybe a little drop shadow would improve things a bit? |

Like Geassel said, its not really a bandsite. Looks more like something you'd see made for the GAP, but its good none the less.

I think it looks really good, basically anything these days will work for a band site :p as long as their is band content and stuff. The design looks really good though, I like it :D

I like it too. I'd consider a slight saturation of the wood color though. Like a previous poster said, it feels a bit flat. Good work. |
