ive been looking for a photoshop based forum to learn as much as i can and also show what im doing and what stage im at.. i work with a car forum and consequently make a vast amount of sigs and wallpapers for members their..hence this picture here.. PICTURE REMOVED please be gentle lol and this one's more in line with what im trying to do more of.. its enormous fun making car PS's for people..but like to do my own thing as well..but,yeah..its still amateur early stages lol PICTURE REMOVED |

the colour choices for the second one are pretty interesting, the combination of subtler tones with the purple/magenta in the back is nicely done. but i'm not so sure about the lens flare - i just don't know if it makes sense where it's being used, as well, it's a filter commonly used by beginners. i guess without the flare, you're lacking a focal point - it would seem that the eye is supposed to do be doing that job, but it's lacking contrast/interest. one more thing, is the text "heaven and earth" necessary? summary: nice job on the colour, just get the components of the page working to help bring them out |

sorry if it sounded that way, but i wasn't trying to say that you were an amateur, just that unnecessary use of the lens flare filter is usually pegged as "amateur" and if you want to move away from that, then you could try some other solutions =) |
