Well, I like the peice overall, but there are a few things I would do to add to it. First off, I would add contrast to the peice by putting in other shades of green, and possibly different textures on seprate laters. The whole leaf thing doesnt really make sense...they are there for no reason, so why not add a tree somewhere. You got a good peice started though.

Thanks. I just started with a gradient out of total boredom. I'll try a few more options/tools/filters/etc later on the day and I'll post them here :>

It's not bad at all. I think everything blends well together and the colours are quite nice. Does it say something in chinese or it's only random symbols? Also I don't know if the grid fits with this image. You should maybe find some other kind of pattern to replace it. I'm saying this, cause usually a grid is used for a more futuristic/trendy style wich your piece isn't one. Good work so far |

What all did you do to that halflife 2 image? I can see that you did some airbrushing, but what else did you add?....

Original image, erased the background, started of from scratch. Brushing, brushing, erasing, brushing, brushing.. took me a while =) |
