Wooha. I like the effect, but it doesn't really remind me of water...
It looks more like you're on some kind of drugs trip... either way, it looks cool.

yeah, the water effect is not so good. but i don't know, how to do any wave's or similar things, so it would look like water, for example lights and shadows :(

the colour change looks great! the blurriness makes the image appear to physically vibrate and kinda hurts my eyes =P
