Here's an update

This is a rather cropped one, and I blacked in some of the iffy areas, just for the sake of posting it, and making it more presentable than the sketchiness that was there before.
So, pools of black just haven't been finished yet. And I didn't really decide on the background, so the clouds that are there might go as well.

About the background, I think you need this really old, scary castle on top of a hill or something. You know, thats way in the background, with lightning in the clouds and stuff! You could photomanipulate that in, or just draw it yourself...

I really like where this is going man. Maybe just make the background a little darker or something like a dark purple color, or do like NL said with the castle and lightning clouds... that would look pretty cool.
