So this is like my first posting of pictures, so be easy on me. Also, I don't have anywhere to host them from, so I guess this will do. Anyway, I was driving down the road with a friend and saw this really old house, so we stopped to take some pictures. http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs4/i/2004/249/7/0/Old_House__by_tiffcollins.jpg http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs4/i/2004/249/0/d/An_Old_House_by_tiffcollins.jpg I love how the curtains are in the window. http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs4/i/2004/249/f/1/Mysterious_Window_by_tiffcollins.jpg http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs4/i/2004/249/4/8/A_Mysterious_Window_by_tiffcollins.jpg http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs4/i/2004/252/a/9/Boarded_Side_by_tiffcollins.jpg |

I think the pictures aren't that bad, if it are your first. Technically I think they lack some contrast, they look a little flat. Also you chose a few weird compositions, as with the mysterious_window one, You should've tried to capture the whole window, it's a shame that the top right corner is missing. an_old_house photo misses a bit on the right too, you should really pay some attention to that. Old_house, the horizon isn't horizontal... which destroys the composition. The photo looks really simple, which is good... but because the horizon isn't level, the phot gets this weird effect. To illustrate the lack of contrast, I've edited one of your photos really fast. If you mind, please tell me and i'll get it offline. www.visualjoy.com/teamps/old_house.jpg |

Yeah, I think it does look better like that. Thanks for the critiques! And they aren't really my first but pretty close to it.

Those look pretty good, but like NL said they are a littel blown out looking and would look better with some boosted contrast or something. Looks good though
