More Paintings, only this time with a tablet...

Haven't been around in a while, especially with school starting last week, so I figgered I'd say hello again with a new image.

I finally got a tablet the other day, so I had to take it for a proper test drive, and this is what happened::

I posted the sketch on concepart.org, in this thread, and one of the replies I got was to turn it into a preacher. Somehow he became a crazy puritanical preacher. Why? I have no idea, but it seemed to work.

If I actually finish this one, it'll end up cool, cuz I want to put some crazy stuff in the background.

honestly, so far I prefer the first. It's got more character. But since it's a wip...I'll wait for the finished product.

The first one reminds me of that talking skull thing in Hell Boy. You know towards the end when he brings back some Russian monk guy back to life and hangs him over his shoulder? Nice work!

I think it looks really good man, maybe add a little more detail with smaller brushes and whatnot, but none the less I think it looks really great :D

I had some scribbling time tonight, so I did some more work on it. That's how it turned out.

I've still got some proportion issues to straighten out, but soon hereafter, I think I'll be done with that figure, and be able to get to the really weird stuff
