Hi

I am completely stumped on where to put the text on my banner. I know this sounds stupid but i just cant decide. I'm afraid of blocking out too much of the cars. Heres the banner

Also, what type of text would you guys yse? Any style in particular that you think would look good?

Thanks :D

I'd say put it in the lower left corner. That area of the photo is too blurry imo. Instead of adding to the illusion of speed it seems to detract from the overall image quality. I'd put the text over that area and maybe even darken a patch underneath the text to give it a little better contrast. White text, black stroke (assuming you're not using color).

Quick example of what I mean can be seen here.

I'm always in favor of somehow customizing your text and never going with a straight font. But if you'd rather use an unaltered typeface, then I'd go with something in the same genre of what I used for this example.

(font used: Dear Joe)

Yeah, bottom left corner. But keep it under the headlights. White combined with a little red (like last word or the .com) will look pretty "fast" I guess.

I say top left. There is nothing in the space so I say use it. As far as what font to use. Use something you like or think looks right. Maybe bold italic. I think white would look best.

Initially i thought top-left corner too, but Outpatient has won me over with his example!
