WIP - Oprah the Guineea Pig

My little Guineea Pig is called Oprah. Because she is an extreme feminist (female-ist??) she hates it when you touch her ...backside - she will bite you in an instant...and she always gets things her way - no matter what. She is the master of my dog - she rides on top of the dog, sleeps there and if she's hungry (and she always is) she munches on the poor dog's fur. She has no sense of fear because nothing bad ever happened to her and unless you feed her when she screams she will pee in your lap next time you hold her....or chew on your beard/hair...clothes whatever.

That looks really really good man. I love the detail and the way you showed your progress. Proves that you did put a lot more time and effort in to this sucker than meets the eye. I love it man. Great detail and great work :D

Thats pretty cool. The eye reminds me a of a cats eye. What picture was the eye taken from?
The only that could be improved is how big the Guinuea pig is, like make it longer, and maybe show part of a foot, and maybe some leg muscles.

have you ever seen a cat's eye? it is green - not blue/black - and the pupil is an elipsoid instead of a disk. And it was not "taken" from any picture. I made it - along with the rest of it.

...also there are all sorts of guinea pigs - the "classic" ones short hair and smooth too, Tibetan Guineea Pigs have really long hair and my kind is smaller and rounder" it's about one time and a half the size of a hamster - not huge like the regular Guineea Pig.

as for leg parts...I'm not finished yet - it's a work in progress - as the title says

Yeah, I have 6 cats, and not all cats eyes are green. Four of my cats have blue/black eyes.
That eye is really realistic, thats why I thought it was cut and pasted on. Good job.

You can see one of my cat's eyes which is very similar to that eye here.

Atomic: That picture of the cat you included that was supposed to demonstrate the cat's eye isn't a good example--it's blurry and the eyes don't show much.
But mihai, that is truly amazing. The hair is simply amazing. It flows so naturally and realistically. It kinda looks like she has a mohawk or something going on ;). But again, wow. The hair is what makes or breaks an image like that, and you definately got it to work for you.

haha I know - I've even had people asking me if I do her hair...but it's really looking like this on its own - my little mohawk

dammit, that looks cool. Must have taken a looong time with all those threads to deal with.. o_O (I'm going by the wireframe here :D ) Still, it looks very crazy. Great job with this one, man.
