This is the first panorama I shot with my camera, the camera doesn't have a panorama function so I used my tripod and some imagination. It's the stadium of Ajax Amsterdam. Panorama shot (156 kb) Please give me some feedback. |

it's a very nice pic. I think there's a little booboo with the "waves" in the arena roof. Either the shots were missaligned or you stitched them a little funky. other than that...I really like it. I like the contrast between the left and right sky and building... - yay |

Nice! Other than what mihai mentioned, the stitching looks good. Im not sure what specific feedback you want......but i think a little post work would really make it stand out. I think a bit more contrast would help (the entire photo.....though mostly the building would benefit). I think desaturating the ground (removing the reddish color) would contrast nicely with the building and match the cooler colors of the image....and if you havent cropped the pic id suggest rotating the image like 3 degrees....so the horizon is horizontal. Overall though......i love it. Great subject matter! I also really like that 1 lonely light pole. It gives the pic some balance because there's alot of weight on the left side.....and also helps your eye as the lines of the image are vertical. |

That was exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for, rodder! I tried fixing it, you tell me if it was for the better... www.visualjoy.com/teamps/arena_edited.jpg I tried removing the red color of the ground, and I think it looks better now. I increased the contrast a bit too, but not too much. Too much contrast didn't make it look good. And Mihai, yeah I noticed that roof thingy too, I tried editing it...and it's much better now than it was before. So I'll keep it like this I think. |

So thats what you were working on when I was talking to you the other night. ;) Looks really good man. I think the color in the second one, though a little better on the building, kindof makes the sky look a little blown out. Other than that though I think it looks really good. Nice work NL

Thanks everyone! Oh and rodder, I tried looking at that horizon, I didn't see it at first... but now I understand what you are talking about. But the horizon actually is horizontal, that building (where you see the ERY of PERRY) runs into the background, it isn't straight in real life, and then with the stadium being round, it plays with your eyes a bit and makes the horizon look funky. |
