Umm I don't know I find it sort of plain. The guy grabs all my attention but I don't see why he's significant. If I'm supposed to be looking at the text then make it stand out more. Perhpas add some sort of texture to the rest of the image instead of the blue lines.

i think that if the "guy" was either less opaque, or more focused, it would look alright. better yet, try both. the resolution of the face is throwing the whole image off.

...that face does look familiar. i'd also like to know who it is. looks very similar to a friend of mine.

woah, hmm, the face is kinda bright and in your face. Since it's not a clear picture, it doesn't look the greatest so big.

I like the pattern of lines you used on the blue, but you should have something else there as well.

The text is hardly noticeable. But the main thing I think is I have no idea what the image is about. Why is that guy's face there? What does the image mean? It's like, there's a guy's face with white eyeballs and I have no idea what it's for. Maybe you're just experimenting, which is fine, but you should still have some theme or idea in your design that stands out.

As to why it looks different (ie better) in Photoshop, I would check your optimization. Obviously something changed in your compression or something. Just an idea!

yes it could be the compression ...... sometimes the web really messes up graphics that arent optimized for the web .... try doing "save for web" next time
