Lightning in the clouds

This is the first strike in a looooong while, so im kinda proud of it lol. I cleaned the pic the best i can (w/out spending hours on it)...... a 6 sec shutter @ 3am doesnt give the best quality.

I don't wanna sound like a comlplete arse (difficult when you are readin it but...)

I presume the sky was a different shade and you have pp'd in PS?

Yeah. The orig. photo has a little more blue in the purple (or less saturation). I recolored the photo (not to far off though....it was fairly purple sky) to try to reduce the noise and also for a more dramatic effect....since its not best photo. Most photo's i dont alter this much...but being fairly simplistic (and a 3am photo) i figured some alterations cant hurt.

I tried taking pics of lightening im not fast enough. : ( so good job.


lol. The first 50-60 pics i had were pure black w/ noise. Im not all that fast myself. I think patience though is whats needed.
