Just trying something new. To see them: - cross your eyes - when the first and second image merge, you'll see 3 images. Focus on the middle image. - be paitent...keep your eyes still and it should slowly come into focus The Porsche works perfect. The flower works too....but isnt as good (i think it needs a simpler composition ). edit: Im posting them directly cause they're small and once you have one in focus...the other should just about be infocus too. |

When I first look at these pics and crossed my eyes, I was thinking how dumb I must look, but then I finally got the porshe to work. It's real nice man and I think the flower looks more 3d when you can focus on it. Are there some rules to follow to get such an effect or you can just take 2 shots of anything and put them side to side? |

Im not sure the rules are set in stone, but what i did is measure the distance between the lense and object, take 1/30th of that and move the camera that distance to the left(after iv e taken the right picture). When I set them up side by side I made sure the left image is on the left and the right is on the right. Also i used a couple guide lines to align them vertically. Im may case, 1/30th the distance wasnt far......it was .13 inches for the porsche and about half an inch for the flower. |

I think the flower is better than the car just because it's more defined from the background. Sweet shots.

yeah seriously, the flower is awesome. I can really see it in 3D and it has so much debt from the background, it's almost unreal
