typography stencil

An über stencil project. All passengers, please place your luggage in the overhead compartment and adjust seatbelts accordingly.

Sorry for the poor photo-quality, I own a budget-class digicam. So, I'm at a friend's house and I let him use my spray cans. He tried to tag up on his wall, but fcuked up royally. So we decided to paint over it, and do something interesting on it (this ended up being something for his girlfriend). The first idea bombed, so we came up with something different. 8 hours, pack of oreos, one drinking contest and a donut later, we finished a massive heart-shaped poem with a stencil of his girlfriend in the middle. Bang. The original poem that he wrote was too long for the length of the heart so I had him "azn-ify" the poem, which lobbed off a good 50 or 60 charachters.

Man. That's more insane than getting her name tattooed on you. If they break up, that's gonna suck.

Otherwise, you did a pretty nice job with it... seems really time consuming, but it turned out pretty cool. The spraypaint of the girl is really nicely done. The letters are cool too.

Do you have an asian girlfriend or something? You do a lot of asian stencils, and i'm assuming it's the same girl?

Wow awesome. I woulda liked to see a closer shot of the girl outside of the heart, that looked like the nicest stencil.

Well if you want a stencil ciritique may i suggest StencilRevolution...

It must have took you forever to cut that. . . from the pictures i see some over spray
you should have used that adehive to hold the stencils, since its indoor you could have done it a bit more careful. But looks good..
