Fig - I actually own a very weathered copy of the hard-to-get "Made you Look" and had seen that ad campaign before. I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it! Really simple but ultra-effective.

On the logo, yeah it needs work. I feel like I almost need to firmly nail down the tagline before I can construct the actual logo to complement it. The name could even be arbitrary to the tagline and logo I think as long as there is a well-defined connection (or opposition)between those two.

Deker - I agree on the bevel. Was trying to make it look more dimensional I guess. And yes, the logo must evolve or reincarnate.

I had already tried the orange with a spigot and black drop actually :-) Tried the organe with a black flame too. I had also thought about maybe having an antique oil can or a fuel additive can (with the bottle-cap top) with the Orange Octane name on it. Since the tagline has gone through a few revisions, the one I decided on with this particular one didn't seem to go well with that motif. But maybe the tagline *is* the problem.

So: The name is nailed down, the logo is out, and the tagline needs some modification.

I really appreciate all the comments so far. Look for some revisions soon...
