Critique on Sig...

Hi people..
I am open to any critiquing on my sig. Any suggestions?

*This is my second sig made so far in my new found graphic design hobby.

welll...1st and formost you must keep studying your art....

i like the layout of this simple design...but i'm not feeling the text...to me gridlines are played out....

overall i see the makings of a great artist...just keep studying your art....

I like the design, but as knowledge_ceeker said, the gird lines are used a bit too often and just dont work to well.
I would change the font, hard to read.

I still think it's fun when people are asking for comments for sigs :P

My comments:
Well it's blue and it looks like 1000 million other sigs.
I think a sig should be small and unnotisable if you don't want to look at it.

Is that only your second sig? Man, it's pretty cool. I think that without the gridlines and with a softer tone of blue - minus the silly gradient box that you put the text in - i think it's pretty nice. It could do with a nicer font too. But I will say that that thing in the bg can make for a real nice sig.
