dam project grew out of a joke that began when I had a laptop who's previous owner named it Eve. I don't know why, exactly. He's not that nerdy, nor really am I. Nonetheless, my current computer, an OLD pc (233 mHz P.1 w/ 48 mb ram, running win 98) has been, somewhat by default, dubbed Adam. Given that I've already had to do a lot of hardware tweaking, and that it's been something of an ordeal getting it going, the name "The Adam Project" kind of became more fitting. The first time I used Photoshop (v. 5.5) on the computer, I made these 2 images: If the above links don't work, just go to http://www.endlessmachine.vze.com. It's the top 2 images Obviously, the whole thing is mine. I didn't get the robot from anywhere, yadda yadda yadda. I know, the text looks bad. You can't do a whole lot with layer styles with 48 mb. of ram. Nonetheless, the older version of Photoshop runs well on it, so this will be my main machine for the time being. Also, for the type of work that I want to do more of, which is primarily hand-airbrushing, it's sometimes better to do them on an older system. I just wish my graphics power was a little more than 1024 x 768 at 16 bit color. Anyway, C & C please. |

The "Adam Projekt" really destroys the whole piece. It doesnt need to be that big or cut through the whole image. The robot looks good though

I like the red image, but itd be cooler if the text were like 2 times smaller, and it was a thin line across instead. Make it your desktop backround, heh.
